Like many modern therapists, I use a combination of therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of my clients, but primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is based on the idea that how we think (cognition), how we feel (emotion) and how we act (behavior) all interact together.  Cognitive therapy helps people develop alternative ways of thinking and behaving to reduce their psychological distress.

Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life.”
