Lisa A. Early, LPC, LCMHC, NCC
My work as a therapist is deeply grounded in offering a counseling experience that allows you to feel empowered, safe and comfortable, and I will always be transparent with you! I’m licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, I’m a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and I have over 15 years of experience working in the private sector, psychiatric facilities, residential treatment, outpatient community mental health, and military installations. I have a broad range of clinical experience that includes working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, family and relationship concerns, trauma and grief. I also have extensive experience working with college students who are struggling with managing their mental health due to major life changes and uncertainty.
I grew up in a military family, and eventually married someone in the military! My husband, three kids and I moved every few years around the United States, Europe and Asia. I became all too familiar with making friends and ending friendships, but along the way I learned how fulfilling relationships are formed and the importance of effective communication. As a woman with a multicultural background, I understand the importance of inclusion and being an ally for individuals from various cultural and social backgrounds.
I believe that with a heart-led and mind-driven approach, it’s possible to not only change, but thrive!
